Safety comes in all forms. You can find everything from a helmet when riding a bike and cabinet locks for a curious toddler – wherever one looks, safety can be found. The same applies for the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, which was recently awarded with an IIHS ‘Top Safety Pick+’ – their highest honor.

The Pacifica comes in as being the first minivan to win the prestigious award. In order to earn a Top Safety Pick+ award, a vehicle must get a rating of ‘good’ in such tests as:

  • Small Overlap Front
  • Moderate Overlap Front
  • Moderate Overlap Side
  • Roof Strength
  • Head Restraint Tests

Along with a passing grade in the above, the ride must also be equipped with an available crash prevention system and pass with an ‘advanced’ or ‘superior’ grade.

The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica has over 100 standard and available safety features, which gives every driver and passenger peace-of-mind when on the road. Certain features found in the Pacifica include:

  • Lane Departure Warning
  • Forward Collision Warning Plus
  • 360º Surround View Camera
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go
  • ParkSense® Rear Park Assist with Stop and Rear Cross Path Detection
