What’s new for the 2026 Ram 1500?
The big news is engines. Shoppers can choose between the updated 3.6L Pentastar V6 with eTorque, the new Hurricane I6 twin-turbo (Standard Output or High Output), and the return of the 5.7L HEMI V8. Ram also expanded premium trims, continued to refine towing tech, and added modernized interior screens and driver information clusters across the lineup.

Tradesman
The Tradesman keeps it simple. Vinyl or cloth seats, the 8.4 inch touchscreen, durable materials, standard LED headlamps, and basic towing equipment. Great choice for job sites, fleet use, or anyone who values function more than fluff.
Who is the Tradesman for?
Drivers who want a straightforward truck that keeps cost down and capability up. Many of our contractors and agricultural buyers choose it for that reason.
Express
The Express adds 20 inch wheels, body color bumpers, carpeted interior, and the popular Black Express Edition. It sits right between basic work needs and everyday personal use.
Warlock
The Warlock takes inspiration from Ram’s classic off road look. Black trim, raised suspension, skid plates, tow hooks, and 18 inch all terrain tires. It brings an affordable off road attitude without going full Rebel.
Big Horn / Lone Star
Big Horn is the most popular truck on our lot. Chrome appearance, cloth bucket or bench seats, LED lighting, upgraded interior, and loads of optional packages. Lone Star is the Texas variant but content is similar.

Limited
Premium quilted leather, 12 way power front seats with massage, air suspension, chrome accents, LED projector headlamps, and power running boards. Limited pushes comfort and tech well above the mid tier trims.
Limited Longhorn
Bison Brown interior, real wood, detailed stitching, and western inspired materials. It builds on the Limited with richer textures and more distinctive styling.
Tungsten
The most luxurious Ram 1500 to date. Full premium leather, 24 way massaging front seats, suede headliner, Klipsch audio, digital cluster, and the 14.4 inch touchscreen. It sits at the top of the luxury half ton market.
RHO
The RHO is the high performance desert runner. Widebody stance, 35 inch tires, performance hood with functional scoop, Bilstein Black Hawk e2 shocks, launch control, full time 4x4 with low range, and a long travel suspension. It’s the closest you can get to a TRX in a new Ram.
Which 2026 Ram 1500 trim is right for me?

The 2026 Ram 1500 pulls up to 11,610 pounds with the Hurricane Standard Output and the right axle ratio. Payload can peak above 2,300 pounds in certain configurations. Final numbers depend on engine, axle, cab style, and 4x2 vs 4x4.

The Standard Output Hurricane I6 with the 3.92 axle ratio delivers the strongest towing numbers. If payload matters more, the Pentastar V6 in a 4x2 configuration offers the highest bed capacity.
