Chrysler Pacifica earns a Cars.com ‘Best of 2017’ award
It’s not easy finding the perfect toothpaste. Infinitely more difficult is finding the perfect family vehicle.
“This one doesn’t have enough safety features.”
“That one isn’t ‘tech-friendly’.”
“Can I go 5 feet without having to fill up the tank?”
For the longest time, there truly wasn’t one go-to ride for the entire brood…that is until now. Cars.com recently unveiled their ‘Best of 2017’ list, and on it was the all-new Chrysler Pacifica minivan.
From the outside, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica looks like more than just a minivan, with its sculpted look and available features like the Tri-Pane Panoramic Sunroof, chrome accents and 20-in aluminum wheels. Arms full? The Chrysler Pacifica doesn’t slack on convenience, thanks to new innovations like Hands-Free Sliding Doors and a Hands-Free Power Liftgate.
If you thought the outside was great, the interior will blow your socks of. Heated leather-trimmed seats will ensure a comfortable ride, while the class-exclusive Stow ’n Go Seating and Storage System will allow for true flexibility. With seating of up to 8 passengers, there’s bound to be a mess or two along the way. The popular Stow ’n Vac system is powered by RIDGID®, and will reach the entire cabin.
For the tech-savvy shopper, the Uconnect Theater is available and includes dual 10.1-in HD touchscreen with dual HDMI inputs, a Blu-ray player, Bluetooth remotes and much more. Up front sits the available 8.4-in touchscreen which includes a customizable home screen, Siri® Eyes Free and SiriusXM Satellite Radio.
To be a legit family ride, it needs to keep said family safe. Available features found in the new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica include:
- 360º Surround View Camera
- Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking
- ParkSense Rear Park Assist System
- Rear Cross Path Detection
- LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist
- Blind Spot Monitoring System
Last but not least, under the hood sits the award-winning 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine with 9-speed automatic transmission – giving an amazing EPA rating of 28 mpg highway. The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica also carries Best-in-Class status for towing, at an astonishing 3,600 lb capacity.
So to say the Chrysler Pacifica is just ‘any other minivan’ would be like calling the sun a ‘glorified lightbulb’. To check out the new 2017 Pacifica, visit your local Chrysler Pacifica dealer at River Front Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in North Aurora.
