What Is Ram BusinessLink and Why Does It Matter for Your Business?

A business vehicle is different than a personal vehicle. When a work truck goes down, people stop working, jobs get delayed, deliveries get missed and money stops coming in.

That is exactly why Ram created the BusinessLink program.

BusinessLink dealerships are designed to support commercial customers differently than an ordinary dealership. The focus is faster service access, commercial vehicle support and staff that understand work trucks, vans, chassis cabs and upfits.

At River Front Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, our BusinessLink commercial team works with contractors, municipalities, delivery companies, electricians, plumbers, landscaping businesses and fleet customers throughout North Aurora and the western Chicago suburbs looking for Ram trucks, chassis cabs and ProMaster vans that are built to work.

A regular dealership might be able to sell you a truck. A BusinessLink dealership is built to support the business behind it.

What Makes BusinessLink Different?

  • Priority service scheduling for enrolled commercial customers
  • Commercial vehicle service capability for larger trucks and vans
  • Dedicated commercial sales support
  • Support for upfits, body builders and work-ready configurations
  • Access to Ram ProMaster and chassis cab commercial programs
  • Commercial-focused discounts, towing support and fleet assistance
  • Staff trained around business and fleet vehicle needs

Ram BusinessLink FAQ

Can any dealership be a Ram BusinessLink dealership?
No. Ram BusinessLink dealerships must meet Stellantis commercial vehicle requirements involving facilities, service capability, staffing and commercial vehicle support. A dealership cannot simply decide to call itself a BusinessLink dealer without meeting those standards.
Do BusinessLink dealerships have special requirements to meet?
Yes. BusinessLink dealerships are required to maintain commercial service facilities capable of handling larger work trucks and vans. Requirements can include oversized service bay doors, heavy-duty lifts, commercial vehicle tooling, dedicated commercial sales staff and commercial vehicle support capabilities.
Do I really need to use a BusinessLink dealership to buy a Ram truck or van for my business?
No, but there is usually a major advantage if your vehicle is part of your business operations. BusinessLink dealerships are built around minimizing downtime and supporting commercial customers differently than a traditional retail-focused dealership. That becomes especially important for fleet vehicles, upfit trucks, ProMaster vans and heavy-duty chassis cabs.
Is River Front Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram a BusinessLink dealer?
Yes. River Front Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is a Ram BusinessLink dealership serving North Aurora, Aurora, Naperville, Oswego, Batavia, Geneva and the surrounding western Chicago suburbs with commercial truck, van and fleet support.
Will River Front be able to service my upfit work trucks?
In most cases, yes. River Front Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram services many commercial vehicles including utility body trucks, contractor trucks, ProMaster vans and chassis cab upfits. Depending on the upfit itself, certain body or equipment manufacturers may require specialty repair work through the upfitter directly, but we can typically handle normal vehicle maintenance and factory-related repairs.
Do I have to empty my ProMaster van before bringing it to River Front for maintenance or repairs?
Usually no. Most service and maintenance work can be performed without completely unloading your ProMaster van. If the repair requires access to certain interior panels, wiring or flooring areas, our team may recommend removing equipment or cargo beforehand. For heavily built-out vans, it is always a good idea to discuss the setup with our service department before your appointment.

Commercial Vehicles Are Different. Your Dealership Should Be Too.

Most dealerships are built around retail customers. A few oil changes, a family SUV, maybe somebody trading in a lease early because they saw a commercial during football season and suddenly decided they need a different color.

Commercial vehicles live a completely different life.

A Ram ProMaster delivering supplies around Chicago every day racks up mileage fast. A Ram 3500 hauling equipment through Illinois winters does not get treated gently. A chassis cab with a utility body might spend more time idling at a jobsite than parked in a driveway.

That changes how businesses shop for vehicles. It changes how they service them. It changes what matters after the sale.

Payload matters. Upfit compatibility matters. Downtime matters. Fast communication matters. Having a service department that understands commercial vehicles matters.

That is where BusinessLink starts making sense for a lot of businesses.

At River Front Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, commercial customers are not treated like an afterthought squeezed in between retail traffic. Our team works with businesses every day that depend on their trucks and vans to keep crews moving, equipment delivered and jobs running on schedule.

Some customers need one truck. Some need an entire fleet plan. Some just need somebody that understands why a van sitting for three extra days becomes a much bigger problem than most people realize.
